P-01: Stapler Reverse Engineering & Redesign
I carried out a full reverse-engineering and redesign cycle on an Amazon Basics stapler, starting with physical disassembly and measurement and ending with a complete, functional SolidWorks assembly incorporating targeted design improvements. The work progressed through original-state modelling, formalised redesign rationale, and reconstruction of the mechanism as a coherent 3D system.
The final deliverables include a revised assembly, manufacturing-ready working drawings, motion and interference analysis, and high-fidelity renders. The result is a validated, manufacturable redesign that demonstrates end-to-end engineering graphics capability from physical artefact through production documentation.
